Island Wake 2012 Wakefest
We organised our first Wakeboard competition. We continue to support the wakeboarding community and reflect our name as a strong force in the wakeboard community.
Stanley Grand Opening x K2 “POP-THIS!”
It was the first outdoor snowboard jam in Hong Kong to celebrate Ollie Tournament- Hong Kong stop. K2 Pro rider Sachi Tamaka & Ryuji Takai are invited as special guests to demo & promote snowboarding in Hong Kong.
Girls Day @ Window of the World
Sachi Tanaka was invited by Island Wake to attend the debut Girls Day event to teach women about snowboarding at Window of the World in Shenzhen
Girls Movie Night
Island Wake invited Sachi Tanaka, the most popular Japanese girl snowboarder, to organize the first charity Girls Movie Night in Hong Kong. All the funding was donated to support the victims from the most powerful earthquake – Tohoku Tsunami in Japan.
Logo Evolution
The original Island Wake logo was blue and white. In 2011, we decided to change it to the now black and green logo giving Island Wake a stronger and branding image.

Wakeboarding is one of the strongest action sports that Island Wake specializes in. The brand Liquid Force and Hyperlite are the leaders of wakeboarding related products and we bring the brand and all its products exclusively to Hong Kong.
The first Island Wake store is opened.
Island Wake established in 1995 and started as a retailer. The first Island Wake store was opened at The Aberdeen Marina Club.
